The Association of Convenience Stores (ACS) was formed in 1995 as the retail trade association for the UK convenience store sector. Within nine years ACS is the fastest growing trade association in the UK retail market, representing over 30,000 shops.

 ACS represents and supports the interests of convenience retailers operating in the UK. One of ACS key roles is to ensure that policy-makers know how legislation and regulation impacts upon these neighbourhood retailers.
